This engine came in our Bay when we shipped it over from California in 2005 and was in the Bus running great until 2009 when on our way back from a Grimsby VW Club BBQ it started making a knocking noise as we left Grimsby although it got us home. I was too busy at the time to check it out and ended up buying a brand new longblock which is in or bus now.
It has sat in the garage for over 2 years and according to Snappa at the time he thought it could be something as simple as a conrod or similar as it was still driving when taken out.
Its offered for sale as is not knowing th problem and i am open to any reasonable offers so make me one.
