68 bug project...
its not a small project, theres plenty of welding to do and theres a good few parts missing, but on the plus side it comes with a few of the repair pannels it needs, a good pair of steel front wings, a pair of fiberglass rears and a new adjustable front beam,
welding wise it basicaly needs the bottom 6" (the previous owner has replaced one heater channel and theres another one with the car) i've got a new front clip, and a few other repair pannels it needs, the rear inner arches need a fair bit of work too. the chassis is pretty good. someones put new pan halfs in at some point but hasn't tried hard to paint them so theres a bit of surface rust so clean up. the main spine is all in good condition and i've got a new adjustable beam for it.
theres a pair of doors and a bonnet with it but they've seen better days. not past repairing but not great either. the decklid is good tho. theres a 1200cc motor to go with it and a matching gearbox with long axles.
as i said theres a lot of daft bits missing but its a cheap tax exempt project thats not beyond saving, was just more work than i wanted at the time and realisticaly im not gonna find the time or money to get on with it over winter.
its currently in bits in the back yard but if anyones genuinly intrested in it i'll put it back together and get it rolling at least so it can be trailered away.
these are the only pics i have of it at the moment, as it came to me at the start of the year

obviously come and have a look at it because its not a small project but its worth saving i think. if nobody wants it i'll keep the chassis, chop the shell up and have me a beach buggy
it owes me a lot more but £500 takes it!
