My new ride.

Well, seeing as were now a general car club (great move imo 8-) ) I don't feel so bad about whoring my new wheels.

Meet *the Desoto*

1951 Desoto custom, 251 ci flathead straight six.

Erm, ok, why won't it let me copy img codes??? I can't post pics! :cry:

The new site really doesn't like ayePhones!

And cheers steve :D I'm loving it, just trying to sort a fee issues, mainly a cracked cast iron exhaust manifold, trying to source some service parts and trying to get the carb running right. Think it'll need a rebuild :roll: anyone got a rebuild kit for a Chrysler E9C1 down draft carb?? :!: lol.

One option is a V8 tho.... 8-)

Just found a nos 52 carb gasket set, been kept in wax paper all it's life and is like new. £17.85 :D hahaha.

I cant see the pics because I'm at work :roll: but I have seen pics before and it is an amazing looking car, cannot wait to see it in the flesh (metal) for real. Good find with the carb Coop ! :D do you want me to get you some acetone to give your carb a good clean with, its great stuff for it.
