passat 1.8t sport estate...

hey up lads and ladies,

well here we have my old passat estate! its been in my hands for a little over a year now and its never let me down, but i've got a van for work now so its no longer viable to keep it! :(

in the time i've had it its had a service, new plugs, 3 of the 4 suspension arms on the nearside front, a cv joint, some new disks and pads and last but not least a new center exhaust section.

its a nice straight honest car, the tyres are all good, two are only a few months old thinking about it!, it drives nicely, pulls well when you want it too, and if im steady i can get 35 - 40mpg easy out of town, theres plenty of room in the back for parts, the dog, granny, whatever you want to chuck in there really!

bodywork wise theres a few scratches and small marks on it but it pollishes up well and tbh overall it looks good, interior wise its not bad, the drivers seat base is starting to fray but the previous owner had the bolsters replaced before i got it so tbh its still very comfortable, theres a couple of marks on the headlining but again with a bit of elbow grease it'll clean up im sure!

mechanicaly its good, its done 144k or so! i've replaced everything as soon as its needed it, the only issues im aware of are the engines hunting when first started up, i belive its either the mass air flow meter, or one of the temp sensors, but tbh i've never had it plugged in to see what it is, all of the parts are cheap enough tho, i've just not had the time to sort it, and it drives fine still anyway so its not been top of the list!

the other issue is a knock on the steering when swinging it about in carparks etc, its done it basicaly the whole time i've had it and i cant find what it is! theres no play in the steering, the car dosn;t wander on the road, the steerings still nice and light, nothing was flagged up at mot time either appart from the antiroll bar drop links, i can only maybe put it down to a strut top bearing or something like that!

anyway again it dosn't seem to affect it out on the road,

theres 10 or so months mot, and 5 months tax although im gonna have to sorn it next week because the insurance runs out, so weather i'll have to send the tax back or whatever i dont know,

so to summerise its a good clean car, not perfect, but its not perfect car money either!

£750

£600 this week only!! i'll have to sorn it after next weekend and that means i'll have to ship the tax off back to the robbing bastards, so it wont be worth selling then and it might as well sit on the drive till i need it again!

£600!!!!!
