WANTED cheap car OR VAN (edited)

Preferably a Dub, obviously

It turns out if you're uninsured for longer than 2 years, you lose all your no claims bonus. That, coupled with 6 points on my license means Churchill now want to charge me £1100 a year for 3rd party on a Golf 1.9D (Cooper's old car).

I need a cheap, small and small engined car that will be a bit cheaper to insure than Fernando Alonso's thumbs.

Maybe a Polo?

Anyone got anything?

I've done some research on insurance and it turns out I'm gonna get bummed on even a small motored car, so does anyone have a cheap Caddy van (or the Skoda/Seat equivalent)?

Reason: Insurance companies are meanies

I'm very interested, but it would probably take me a while to find that kind of cash I'm afraid

£1500 and it's yours

I'm afraid The Beast is either going back to Cooper or to the scrappy. I was only gonna run it into the ground til MOT time. The poor old girl really is beyond economical repair :(
